Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping- (STCW)
The Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) was established by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in 1978.
It designates a set of minimum training standards for, or all seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on board ship at all levels such as deck and engine room rating qualifications, for most navigation, and all engineering certificates of competency.
Our STCW Basic Training course provides instruction and practical training in relevant safety skills necessary to work onboard a vessel in a variety of different roles with designated duties.
